The documentary section of the film was inspired by the most anticipated skyscraper coming to the city of Chicago, Calatrava's Chicago Spire. Besides its height of nearly 2000 feet, the form of the building is unique and beautifully twisted, symbolizing the natural form of life and transitional growth. While the construction of the skyscraper has been on hold due to the economic crisis in the U.S., the Trump tower is near its completion (end of the year 2008.) These two skyscrapers are being compared and criticized most by the public, especially among architects and designers. This phenomenal change of modern architecture on the Chicago's skyline sparks many questions: Why men build tall buildings; the difference between big or small; how tall a building can be and what it symbolizes. This film also explores another layer of this event; the deeper philosophical level of the interconnection between the exterior and interior. This discussion is articulated through the small narrative part of the film that is artfully woven into the documentary part of the film.

Narrative synopsis:
A male porn star, JB Dover, with 13 years of experience must face a challenge to his manhood. During the filming of an x-rated production, he experiences an erectile dysfunction, causing disappointment and frustration to his co-star and most importantly Gino, the director. While looking in the newspaper, he sees an ad for a sex clinic where they offer variety of erectile dysfunction treatments. He decides to visit the clinic first just to get some medication. Then he discovers many other alternative options.
“ With combined serious and satirical intentions, Chicago-based director/performance artist/interior designer Mahakanjana asks, “Why does men build tall buildings?” The resemblance of the skyscraper to a certain human appendage comes in for slyly humorous examination as she weaves the fictional story of a porn star with E.D. into a documentary exploration of motives and design influences among the members of Chicago’s diverse architectural community..” – Gene Siskel Film Center
