HIGHLIGHTS

Special performance "Lion Dance" by the Chinese Cultural Center
The lion is a symbol of "strength, courage and wisdom".
The dance is to ward off any evil spirits and demons,
so as to bring good luck, happiness and prosperity.

Accompanying the Lion is the "Big Head Buddha". The role of the “Buddha” is to taunt and to play with the Lions and guide the Lions. The Buddha has a very large round head and is always in good spirits. His light-hearted character often acts funny and silly, making him very likable.

Later on that night we had the New Year's Eve count down
at Khun Sam & Pratin's home.

The last stop was at the Thai Little Home

Another fun New Year's Eve party, hosted by Khun Kempat Sangern and his wife.
