Crouching Tiger in Thailand

Visiting Thailand, you must be prepared to spend time in the Tiger enclosures. The fees are minimal when you consider that this experience is limited worldwide.


Tiger Kingdom Chiang Mai is a fairly new attraction in the area of Mae Rim. Tiger Kingdom Chiang Mai is a park and restaurant where you can play and touch which tigers and also have a good lunch or dinner.


I spoke to some visitors at the Park and they really enjoyed playing and being around with the Tigers. You will not often have the chance to be close with Tigers in Thailand.


Tiger Kingdom was an amazing experience, where else in the world can you enter a cage of tigers. The staff are excellent and very professional. The tigers look very happy and have plenty of space to move around. I would recommend this experience to everyone.




If your budget allows, please consider hiring one of their photographers. They did a great job and I loved my pictures. Their photographers even keep a backup copy of your pictures so that you can contact them if you have a problem with the images on your picture CD. Our disk worked perfectly, but it was really nice to know that we had a backup of once in a lifetime pictures.


Tigers sleep during the day, so I would recommend coming early to see them awake (you will also miss the crowds that appear when the tour buses arrive). We were alone in most of the cages, which was incredible.
